Major release

This release brings the portfolio up to date with my current cloud-infrastructure work, expands the technical detail behind selected projects, and introduces a cohesive visual and navigation system across the active site.

+ Added

  • A new cloud-infrastructure-focused homepage with current role, expertise, credentials, recognition, and selected work.
  • A featured OpenShift 4.22 cluster deployment completed with User-Provisioned Infrastructure on AWS.
  • A grouped technical toolkit covering containers, AWS, infrastructure delivery, and observability experience.
  • Current CKA and AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification artwork and validity details.
  • Official university logos, an education timeline, and the June 2026 Booz Allen Ferocious Integrity Award.
  • A shared responsive mobile navigation panel with keyboard support and touch-friendly controls.
  • Canonical links, social-preview metadata, a sitemap, robots guidance, and a complete favicon set.
  • A dependency-free local preview server that returns the custom 404 page for missing routes.

Updated

  • Refocused the Experience page on complete career history, technical capabilities, certifications, education, and recognition.
  • Refined the homepage with a professional headshot, the preferred “Mohd Saquib” name, and a clearer description of container SME support provided to CMS through Booz Allen Hamilton.
  • Rebuilt the Projects page with focused AWS case studies, a compact earlier-work archive, technology labels, and a responsive card system.
  • Modernized both AWS case studies with architecture, implementation, reliability, automation, and lessons-learned sections, plus gradient-backed project imagery.
  • Standardized navigation across all active pages using one shared component.
  • Standardized and simplified the footer across all active pages, retaining only useful contact, résumé, project, social, and release-note links.
  • Modernized this Release Notes page while preserving the historical changelog.
  • Converted large photographic assets to right-sized WebP files while preserving the original visual treatment.

Improved

  • Mobile navigation behavior with a viewport-height menu panel, reliable page locking, and larger touch controls.
  • Responsive layouts for navigation, timelines, the technical toolkit, certifications, project cards, case studies, and site-wide footers.
  • Section density, vertical spacing, and background consistency across the Experience and Projects pages.
  • Semantic structure, descriptive image text, navigation labels, keyboard focus states, and reduced-motion behavior.
  • Site-wide smooth scrolling for in-page links, including fixed-header offsets and reduced-motion support.
  • The shared brand cursor with a calmer, more natural typing-cursor blink rate.
  • Typography across the entire site with Inter for a cleaner, modern, and more readable presentation.
  • Asset caching reliability with updated version identifiers and single-load shared navigation and footer styles.
  • Image performance with lazy loading, asynchronous decoding, and explicit dimensions to reduce layout movement.
  • Mobile footer touch targets and AWS CloudFront custom-error-response guidance.
  • Repository maintainability by removing obsolete portfolio pages, duplicate résumé files, legacy scripts, and unreferenced media.
